About the Role
We are currently partnering with an established business to recruit a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver / Warehouse Storeperson to join their Brisbane-based team.
This is a varied, hands-on position combining local deliveries, customer service and general warehouse duties. Reporting to the Store Supervisor, you will spend your day completing deliveries across Brisbane while also assisting with picking orders, unpacking stock and general warehouse operations.
You will generally complete 3–4 delivery runs per day, with multiple customer deliveries on each run, using a company-supplied light commercial van.
This is an ongoing casual opportunity for approximately 3–4 months, with the successful candidate expected to transition into full-time permanent employment at $55,300 per annum once established in the role.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm – 38 hours per week.

Due to the location of the branch and associated Brisbane toll costs, this opportunity may particularly suit candidates who live on the same side of Brisbane as the workplace or have convenient access to the area.

Key Responsibilities
- Complete 3–4 local delivery runs each day with multiple drops per run
- Deliver goods to customers and other branch locations within required timeframes
- Pick and prepare customer orders
- Unpack, receive and organise incoming stock
- Arrange freight and coordinate the delivery of goods
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required
- Handle products weighing up to approximately 20kg
- Respond professionally to customer enquiries at the point of delivery
- Receive customer payments where required and return these to the Store Supervisor
- Maintain professional presentation and excellent customer service
- Ensure the company vehicle and delivery documentation are maintained appropriately
- Work collaboratively with the warehouse and wider branch team
- A current and valid driver's licence allowing you to drive in Queensland – essential
- Confidence driving a light commercial van throughout Brisbane
- Good knowledge of Brisbane roads and surrounding areas
- Previous warehouse, storeperson or delivery experience is highly regarded; however, training can be provided
- A good level of physical fitness and the ability to safely handle products weighing up to 20kg
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong time management and the ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently
- Ability to work autonomously while remaining part of a wider team
- Professional presentation and a friendly, approachable manner
- Strong relationship-building skills with customers and colleagues
- Reliability and a genuine interest in securing long-term permanent employment
- Monday to Friday – 8:00am–4:30pm
- Consistent 38-hour working week
- No weekend work
- Company vehicle provided for deliveries during working hours
