About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking experienced Wharf Cartage Drivers to join our client’s growing transport operation based in Chullora. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing casual employment with the potential to transition into a permanent position with a highly respected logistics company.
Reporting to the Fleet Allocators, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Safely operating vehicles throughout your shift
- Completing all required transport documentation
- Communicating effectively with fleet allocators and customers
- Minimal manual handling
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures
- Previous experience in wharf cartage
- A current and valid MSIC card
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- A reliable work ethic and commitment to safety
- $49.29 per hour plus overtime
- Night shift roster
- Ongoing casual role with view to permanent employment
- Work with a highly regarded leader in the logistics and transport industry
