Tasks & Responsibilities
- Conduct servicing, maintenance, and repairs on heavy vehicles and trailers
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
- Perform engine, brake, suspension, and drivetrain repairs
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer and safety standards
- Maintain service records and job documentation
- Support workshop operations including parts handling and logistics
- Attend breakdowns where required
- Maintain high standards of workshop safety and cleanliness
- Support and mentor apprentices
- Trade qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (Cert III or equivalent)
- Proven experience in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- HR licence advantageous
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
