About the Opportunity
Our client is a well-established and reputable company specialising in the installation, maintenance and servicing of industrial doors and gates across Victoria. Due to continued growth and ongoing success, we are currently seeking two technically minded Service Technicians to join their expanding team.
With a highly regarded, hands-on Director leading from the front and a supportive team of experienced technicians ready to mentor and train, these roles offer an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career. Previous experience is not essential — what matters most is a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a genuine willingness to learn.
These are full-time, permanent positions employed directly with the company. Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm, with overtime and on-call work available as required to meet operational needs.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Service Manager, your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Installation, servicing and maintenance of industrial doors and gate systems
- Diagnosing mechanical and basic electrical faults
- Carrying out repairs and component replacements
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to company standards
- Communicating professionally with clients on-site
- Relevant trade qualifications or industry experience (highly regarded but not essential)
- Welding experience or willingness to complete relevant training
- Strong mechanical aptitude (essential)
- Restricted Electrical Licence (advantageous)
- HR Licence (desirable)
- Scissor Lift and Forklift Licences (highly regarded)
- Excellent communication skills and a team-focused attitude
