About the Opportunity

We're currently recruiting for a well-established transport and logistics business in Townsville, with multiple opportunities available for experienced operators who know their way around a busy transport yard!
Whether you're a gun on the forklift, an experienced HC/MC driver or can operate a sideloader like a pro – WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!
CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES
HC/MC TRUCK DRIVERS
- Operating heavy combination and multi-combination vehicles.
- Transporting freight and containers safely and efficiently.
- Completing pre-start checks, run sheets and relevant documentation.
- Working closely with Fleet Allocators and transport operations teams.
- Container cartage and wharf experience highly regarded.
- Loading and unloading trucks, trailers and containers.
- Confidently operating forklifts within a fast-paced transport yard.
- Handling freight safely and efficiently.
- Supporting daily transport and yard operations.
- Experience loading and unloading tautliners, flat tops and trailers highly regarded.
- Previous experience operating sideloaders is a HUGE advantage!
- Confidence handling and transporting shipping containers.
- Strong understanding of container cartage and safe operating procedures.
- Proven experience within transport, logistics or container cartage operations.
- Current HC/MC licence or LF forklift licence relevant to the position.
- Strong understanding of load restraint, safety and compliance.
- Experience working in busy transport yards or freight operations.
- Reliable, hardworking operators who can hit the ground running.
- Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude.
- Sideloader and MSIC experience? You'll definitely get our attention!
